I’m so excited about the creative and unique ways that our NCC groups are getting involved in service to the community. Here’s one project that you can get involved with, as well. If your group hasn’t participated in a service project this semester, here’s one you can jump on board with!
NCC Moms Small Group is hosting a Diaper Drive benefiting Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center. The Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center is a faithbased nonprofit that offers help to over 2,000 families per year.
Please bring donations of sizes 3,4,and 5’s diapers to the hospitality area at each NCC location. We will be collecting:
- Sunday, July 6
- Sunday, July 13
- Sunday, July 20
Diaper Facts:
- Infants need up to 12 diapers a day; toddlers need about 8 diapers a day.
- An adequate supply of diapers can cost over $100/month.
- In low-income households, babies often spend up to an entire day or longer in a single diaper, because the family cannot afford to buy an adequate supply of diapers.
