I wanted to put a group on the radar screen for our women leaders and give them first dibs: Women in Leadership. We’ll meet on Thursday mornings in the basement of 205 F Street to pray, encourage, and grow together. Christy Tanious and I led a group like this three years ago, and it filled up pretty quickly, so I wanted to give our leaders first opportunity.
Honestly, I’m not exactly sure what the content of the group will look like. It might depend on the participants and their interests and needs. I primarily want to create a safe environment where people can be real and transparent about the unique challenges, chaos and craziness of being a woman in a leadership role.
