The Zone Gathering

The following conference is one that I would highly recommend to all small group leaders and encourage you to promote within your small groups. It addresses the topics of marriage, pornography, abortion, dating, emotional chastity (for women), singleness, and homosexuality, so that pretty much covers everyone.

Sexual Redemption in Jesus Christ For Everyone

Returning Sons and Daughters is a conference offering a redemptive response to the issues of human sexuality we face every day, either in ourselves or in others. The three main sessions will address sexuality from the perspective of Creation, Fall and Redemption. Afternoon workshops will specifically address the application of God’s love to marriage, pornography, abortion, singleness, emotional chastity and homosexuality. The last session is a healing service with Holy Communion and anointing. During this time, we will offer our sexuality to God afresh to be cleansed by His healing presence and strengthened by His Spirit for holiness.

The following workshops will be offered:

Marriage: Navigating your journey through a lifetime of intimacy together.
Pornography: Getting free from sexual images that hold the mind and heart captive.
Emotional Chastity: For women only, guarding your heart.
Abortion: Recovering from post-abortion syndrome and receiving God’s healing love.
Dating: Living with holy boundaries and knowing when to say “I love you.”
Singleness: The call to abstinence and perhaps holy celibacy for life.
Homosexuality: A Christian pastoral response to homosexuality.

The conference will feature Rev. Mario Bergner, the Senior Associate Rector of Christ Church in Wenham Hamilton, Massachusetts and the founder of Redeemed Lives, both near Boston. He is the author of Setting Love in Order and five pastoral courses: Redeemed Lives, Alive Again, Returning Sons, The Shepherd’s Voice and Growing in Virtue.

The conference is being presented by Redeemed Lives and Regeneration Ministries. It will take place at The Falls Church in Falls Church, VA.
