Welcome back, NCC leaders! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a blessed start of 2008. Ryan and I went to Oregon for Christmas and did pretty much nothing. We did manage to shoot some clay pigeons (well, shoot at clay pigeons), build a snow-man-type-thing, hike a bit in the Redwoods, and throw the football on the beach of the Pacific coast. Other than that, we pretty much sat on our rear ends watching movies and hanging out with the family.
I’m back and looking forward to Annual Leadership Retreat 2008: Forceful Advance. I’ll post some more about that soon enough, so I’ll save it for now. If anyone would like to jump in and share a fun Christmas story, favorite present, worst present, how many pounds you gained, etc., hit the comment link and let the laughs begin.
Admittedly this story comes from Thanksgiving rather than Christmas, but since you mentioned it… =) My brother and I decided to do a weigh-in before and after Thanksgiving dinner. Um, let’s just say I put on 5.8 pounds within two hours. Oh yeah, it was (stupid) awesome!

Stephen- that’s hilarious! I’d be too scared to get on the scale after thinking about everything I ate over the past two weeks.
