I’ll cut right to the chase, we need 12 more groups to step up to the plate and adopt a child for the Angel Tree project.
The Angel Tree Project is a ministry designed to provide Christmas gifts to kids who have a parent in prison. Heather and I already have our kid this year, a little 5-year old girl whose mom is in jail in Texas. It’s a ton of fun to pick out gifts for her and even cooler to think about how happy she’ll be when she gets them. I’m also excited about sending a letter to the mom to tell her what we got her daughter on her behalf.
