I’m super excited that the new Chase the Lion small group curriculum is available for pre-order from Lifeway’s Threads! Big thanks to Mark for letting me run with this thing! This is our first NCC-grown small group curriculum.
The curriculum is based on Pastor Mark’s In a Pit With a Lion on a Snowy Day, but I expanded the topics to include more in-depth Bible study on each. There’s a member book for each person in the small group– kinda like a workbook with reflection questions. And there’s a leader kit with creative ideas for group interaction, community building, Bible discussion, Scripture memorization, and prayer experiments.

The Threads team is just as pumped up about the Chase the Lion study as all of you are. A brief story here. I ran into a wonderful 70 year old lady while I was doing some leader training recently. She asked me if I had read In A Pit With a Lion on Snowy Day. She told me “that was the best Christian book she had ever read.” When I told her that Threads/LifeWay was going to be releasing a Bible study, she was fired up. The message of the book and the study is for all ages.
