I can personally test that when I have a thought-out, written discipleship plan I am more intentional about meeting goals and less likely to "float" through a semester or year with little guidance. This summer, I don't have a thoughful plan and have felt like I am sort of being pulled in every direction and drifting a bit. I am definitely going to be developing a coaching plan for the fall!
