My roommate is getting married this summer, so I am looking for a Christian female (ages 27-35) to share my downtown apartment. The new lease would start September 1, but you could move in mid- to late-August. The apartment is located 2 blocks from the Mt. Vernon Square/Convention Center Metro station (yellow/green lines), 3 blocks from the Circulator bus route, and within walking distance of Chinatown, downtown, and Union Station. The building includes a small fitness center, a business center, and “party room” that can be scheduled for residents’ use. A Giant supermarket is four blocks away.
The 2BR, 2BA apartment is 975 square feet with a good size kitchen, wall-to-wall carpeting (except in kitchen and bathrooms), CAC, and a full-size washer/dryer in unit. The smaller bedroom (12½ ft x 10½ ft) will be available for $900 per month + ½ utilities. Room includes a good size closet (6 ft rod space, plus you get the hall closet – 4 ft). The living/dining area is already furnished, but I am open to change depending on what “stuff” you have.
