I’m adding a new feature to Zone Gathering. Well, at least for this week; we’ll see how long it lasts. It’s called the Google Search of the Week.
I’m starting this because of my fascination with how people get to our little website. We have some limited stat tracking on our site (it encourages us a little to know that a handful of people are reading it), and the stats tell us if someone got here because of a particular Google search. Sometimes, these are extremely fun, so I thought I would share them with you.
Because today is the inaugural Google Search of the Week, I’m going to give you two.
The first…
“red feathers and keelboats”
That search led our historically-minded Google searcher to this entry: Zempel Christmas Adventure: Fried Catfish, Fried Chicken, and Fried Dill Pickles.
The second…
“bad behaviors on the softball field”
I didn’t follow that search to see where it linked, but I thought it was funny.
