When you put your God first your day does go so much smoother. When I dont it is a rough day. I am still working on delegating everything.

I think the delegate everything you can point is the most difficult for me. I know that if I don't get it figured out though, I have become the bottleneck for progress

Hey Kim-

Great thoughts! And you've given me another principle-- some things SHOULD be deleted.

Timely and excellent as always. Have to say, I read "delegate everything..." as "DELETE everything..." initially. :) I think I'm looking for the end of the school semester harder than I realized!
I echo the wisdom of beginning the day with prayer. Even if it's only 10 minutes, I find reading scripture and praying keeps me on track for the rest of the day. Those things that pop up throughout the day that would normally take me off track and eat up time, are put into perspective and dispatched with fairly quickly. Orienting my focus on God and in tune with God's hands me back time that would otherwise be spent in unnecessary worry or taking on the responsibilities of others, etc.
Just a thought.

[...] As I’m working out what to do next, I’ve discovered some other people exploring the same concepts. J.D. Meier has some great suggestions on “the secret of time management” that you might want to check out. There’s also another good post with some insights about a leader’s time.
