It’s Friday– anybody got wins today? I’ve got three.
- I got to lead the discussion at Holy Spirit Encounter last night. What a fun group!
- Lifeway’s Threads line is giving me the opportunity to work on a small group curriculum for In a Pit With a Lion on a Snowy Day.
- Ryan had Corky’s BBQ flown in from Memphis for Valentine’s Day. YUM!
Despite the treacherous conditions Tuesday night, our “Safe People” group had seven ladies, and it turned out to be an incredible meeting; we’re so glad we didn’t cancel. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us the rest of the semester.

Old Testament Survey is going well and we even had a great turnout on Wednesday night, despite the weather and Valentine’s Day! What really excites me about this group is how many of the members have only been coming to NCC for a few weeks. We also have some people who are really new to reading the Bible, so I think this is going to be a great ride!

ALPHA is off to a great start! We had an excellent turnout at the Kickoff Dinner on Monday night, and we have 60+ confirmed guests for the semester. Best of all, we have a fantastic team of volunteers!
