It’s win day! We ask you to share wins each week for two primary purposes. First, to give God credit for the great work he is doing in our lives and our groups. Secondly, to share ideas that might inspire and encourage other leaders.
The biggest win for me was being a part of the Alpha Holy Spirit Getaway last weekend. I will let them tell you about it instead of stealing their thunder, but WOW!
It’s also a big win for me to read those win sheets every week. I’m so excited to see the community and transparency happening in the Thesz/Bussey Crown group. I love the way the Hancocks and Johnsons are stretching people and providing pastoral care for their group members. Elizabeth Schloesser is packing a full Living Room every Wednesday night. Cary Kemp and Aimee Goodwin got their group across the finish line at the Marine Corps Marathon a couple weeks ago. Bryan Lewis is creating connection points for college students. The group led by Lisa and Lanre has decided to sponsor 2 Angel Tree children this year. I could go on and on…

The Alpha Getaway was a HUGE win! This was our first attempt at an overnight retreat and it resulted in the largest attendance yet - 49 attendees. Lots of great connecting - w/ each other and w/ God. The groups have already reported that they saw a huge difference in the group dynamics Monday night as a result of the wkend. Great job Alpha team!
