Hey Gang! I can’t believe it’s already November! It’s Friday, so that means it’s time to share ideas and wins that we’ve experienced.
Things are going great in the Journey Group. We decided to participate as a group in the Load the Bus project, so we pooled all of our school supplies on Wednesday night and prayed God’s blessings on them.
We also have one person in our group who wants to get baptized in a couple of weeks!
And– Renee brought some AWESOME cake. In fact, there were some leftovers and I’m going to go grab a piece right now!
While I’m eating, here are today’s Scorecard Questions:
- What is the best, worst, or most interesting outreach or service project your group has ever done?
- What wins would you like to give God praise for?
I want to give God praise for the Ballston Greenhouse group leaders: Mike, Kendi and Lita. In addition to planning together, group meetings and group activities, these guys made a goal to meet together regularly throughout the semester to pray for their group members! I was privileged to join them on Monday night. These guys are living out “servant leadership”!
