The Zone Gathering

Well, another a-typical weekend comes to a close because we got back from the first ever Zone Leaders Retreat! We all made the trek out near Gore, Virginia where nature was abundant. A sky full of stars at night and colored leaves as far as the eye could see during the day. It was pretty amazing!

We had a great weekend reflecting on this year and planning for next, including the Annual Leadership Retreat and the 2007 Small Group Magazine. Stay tuned for more details in the next couple months, but the short story is that both of those items are going to blow this year out of the water.

We also did plenty of praying, laughing, hiking on trails to nowhere, and gorging ourselves on Cheez-Its. Come to think of it…maybe the Cheez-Its were the critical link to successful brainstorming….
