I just wanted to remind everyone about the big weekend for our friends and church-planters-in-a-different-residence Josh and Beth Karrer. This Sunday they have their first preview service down I-95 in Glen Allen, Virginia (near Richmond).
Heather and I went down a couple weeks ago to visit Josh and Beth (and baby Karrer) and we can confirm that they have a real house, a real yard, a real driveway, and many other amenities that us urban folk have long forgotten. We also got to see the Regal Theater they will be meeting in received a great tour of the area.

If you get inspired, email Josh and make the quick 90-minute drive down to Glen Allen and help them on Sunday morning. They could use help from people with smiling faces to greet the newcomers God will bring this first Sunday. Besides the satisfaction of helping part of our extended NCC family, you won’t go away empty-handed- or with an empty stomach.
Josh has set up a cool deal with the new Chipotle in the neighborhood so each person that comes on Sunday gets a card for a free burrito. Not too bad!
