Even though its only week two of the Fall Semester, its never too early to start sharing wins. Some of you are probably being harassed by your zone leader to turn in your win sheet, but you may be able to earn some brownie points by posting your wins in the comment section below.
One key goal of the Friday Scorecard and Win Sheets is to constantly keep God as our focus and to jump at each opportunity to thank Him for having His hand on us and our groups. Acts 21:19-20a reads:
“Paul greeted them and reported in detail what God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry. When they heard this, they praised God.â€
On a corporate level this week, the combined attendance at NCC last weekend was over 1,100 people. That’s a big win since its our biggest weekend ever, but its also challenge to us, since that leaves hundreds of NCCers that aren’t currently in a small group. Don’t be afraid to tell people about your group!
Another win is the number of small groups using blogs to communicate with their groups throughout the week. You can find links to eight NCC small groups by clicking on NCC Online Community on the side bar. If you have a blog for your group and want to get linked up, email Heather Z.
Also, you can click on Upcoming Dates & Events to stay up to speed on upcoming small group events and other major NCC happenings. Hopefully this will be a win down the road as we strive to communicate better and get everyone on the same page!

Lisa and I had three of our emerging leaders take over bible study for us on Tuesday night and got really positive feedback both from the leaders, and from the members of our group. It is great to see them stepping up to leadership and refreshing to know that Lisa and I really aren’t the ones orchestrating the wins in our group– it’s all God!
