The Zone Gathering

The Online Community for the Leaders of National Community Church

One.
Be One.
Make One.
For One.

I know most of you ask yourself that question a lot when it comes to things that I (Heather Z) do or say. And sometimes, we ask ourselves that question over and over again when it comes to why we do what we are doing with discipleship and small groups: Why do we do win sheets, again? Why do we place so much emphasis on small groups? What is the purpose of the zone leader? And on and on…

Just wanted to let you know about a new resource in case you ever want to remind yourself of why we do what we do or if you want to know what the heck I was/am thinking. It’s an FAQ series that I have started over at Wineskins for Discipleship.

Wineskins is a blog that I started for other pastors, small group coordinators, and discipleship dreamers and architects to be an opensource sharing of ideas. I get lots of emails from other churches about why and how we do what we do, so I have started answering some of those frequently asked questions over at Wineskins.

Just wanted to let you know in case you started asking, “why do we have interest groups?” or something along those lines. There might be an answer there (or forthcoming).
