1. Violet Burning Concert- Friday, July 14, 7:30pm @ Ebenezers. The Violet Burning will be in concert with special guest Steph Modder. Suggest donation $10.
2. Baptism by the Bay- Sunday,  July 16- Our annual picnic and baptism at Sandy Point State Park located off of MD Route 50 (exit 32). Admission is $6. We will have games and sports at 3pm, picnic at 5pm, and the baptism around 6pm. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Home-made goodies preferred!

In the summer, Sandy Point often reaches maximum capacity, and the park closes. Our group is guaranteed 28 parking spaces available on a first come, first serve basis, so we encourage you to carpool with others and arrive as early as possible. IF THE PARK IS CLOSED when you arrive, you can give the gate the following information: Contact- Beth Karrer, Group Name: National Community Church, Shelter: Muskrat. If there are parking spaces available at our shelter, you will be permitted entrance to the park. IF THE PARK IS OPEN when you arrive, please DO NOT tell the gate that you are with our group. Please park in the public parking areas and walk to the shelter in order to save the parking spaces for those who may arrive after the park has reached maximum capacity.

3. Young Life Summer Picnic- Sunday, July 16, 12:30pm @ Rock Creek Park Picnic Area #9. Come help send DC kids to camp. The cost is $15 per person, and proceeds go toward sending kids to camp. Please RSVP via email.
