The Zone Gathering

The Online Community for the Leaders of National Community Church

One.
Be One.
Make One.
For One.

In August, Pastor Josh and Beth Karrer will be relocating to Ashland, Virginia to plant Crossings Church. Josh and Beth are great friends and great examples of what it means to be a servant. They are a vital component to making National Community Church work behind the scenes. Now, it is our opportunity to assist them as God calls them to our exotic neighbor to the south- Richmond.

First, I’m posting a permanent link to the ZoneGathering sidebar so you can keep up with Crossings Church as it gets rolling. This will give you great ideas of how you can be specifically praying for Josh and Beth. (It’s our second NCC church planter link. The first is Scott & Sue Aughtmon’s Pathway Church in NorCal.)

Second, as Heather Z. talked about in her message this weekend, I would encourage you to prayerfully consider partnering with Josh and Beth in their move to Ashland. It’s obviously a huge step, but it might be what God is calling you to. If you have any questions at all, or just want to talk with Josh, drop him an email. Also, please promote Crossings Church within your small groups, because God may be calling someone outside of their comfort zone in your group.

Third, if God puts it on your heart to support Crossings Church financially, you can also email Josh.

The Church Planter-In-Residence staff position is one of my favorite things about NCC. I’ve never been a part of a church that has it. And I think its a great opportunity to consistently send people out across the country spreading the Good News. We need to be willing to support them not only while they’re here and but after they launch.
