ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. Marriage Matters-
Sunday, June 4 @ 6pm. Join us for a BBQ and baseball-themed evening as we discuss Putting First Things First. You will not want to miss this fun summer event designed specifically for married couples ato have a night out! Tickets are for sale at the Connection Center for $15 per couple. Childcare will be provided at no extra cost. If you would like to take advantage of the childcare option, please email Nina.
2. Katrina Disaster Response Missions Trip- July 30-August 5. The group will be doing hands-on work to help Katrina victims on our missions trip to Mississippi. Team meeetings prior to the trip will focus on preparation through a Bible study as well as getting to know one another and working throug logistics. Cost: Approximately $600. If interested, please attend an informational meeting on Monday, May 22, 6:30pm at 205 F Street NE or contact Tim for more information.
3. Galapagos Missions Trip- August 6-13 ($1,925) or August 6-15 ($2,200 with two days in Cuenco, Ecuador). This trip will help spread the word of a new TV station available on the islands. This new station features NCC’s sermons each week. We will be working with missionary Bill McDonald. Email Christina and CC Mary for more information.
4. Wanted: Nursery Volunteers- Do you love working with infants and toddlers (ages 0-2)? Are you excited to be part of an NCC ministry? Then sign up for nursey opportunities at Union Station by emailing Andrea and at Ballston by emailing Trish.
5. Wanted: Kids Ministry Volunteers- Don’t miss your opportunity to work with kids! Volunteer with the children’s ministry at NCC. To set up a Sundy to check it out, email Nina.
