ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. Extreme Home Makeover: NCC Style, Sunday, May 14. Every year, we bless a single mom in the area by beautifying her house (painting and planting flowers). Come be a part of this great tradition! Give back to a deserving mother in our community. Email Jenn Puckett for more info.
2. The Story- Jump on board for a high-speed thrill ride through the entire Bible in three weeks. The Story begins on Monday, March 15, 7pm @ Ebenezers. To RSVP or ask for more info, email Heather Z..
3. Inward Bound Retreat, June 16-18 @ Rocky Gap Resort in Maryland. Come and discover how God has wired you and the story He is writing for your life! Surrounded by a lake and stunning mountains, you will not want to pass up this opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and to learn more about yourself and your relationship with God. Cost is $110/person/quadruple occupancy, $140/person/double occupancy, and $20/child. Cost includes lodging, retreat materials, and two meals. Space is limited. Register today by emailing Beth. Your space will be confirmed upon payment. The deadline to register is Friday, May 12.
4. Wanted: Nursery Volunteers- Do you love working with infants and toddlers (ages 0-2)? Are you excited to be part of an NCC ministry? Then sign up for nursey opportunities at Union Station by emailing Andrea and at Ballston by emailing Trish.
5. Katrina Disaster Response Missions Trip- July 30-August 5. The group will be doing hands-on work to help Katrina victims on our missions trip to Mississippi. We will meet as a group before the trip to focus on preparing. We will go through a Bible study together as we get to know each other and talk about logistics for the trip. Being a part of the trip is required to be part of this group. Cost: Approximately $600. Contact Tim for more information.
6. Galapagos Missions Trip- August 6-13 ($1,925) or August 6-15 ($2,200 with two days in Cuenco, Ecuador). This trip will help spread the word of a new TV station available on the islands. This new station features NCC’s sermons each week. We will be working with missionary Bill McDonald. Email Christina for more information.
