Lots of big wins this week!
We completed the Journey small group this week. Twelve people walked briefly through the seeker, influencer, investor, and learner dimensions of discipleship. Now, they are fully equipped and resourced to launch out on their own to explore those islands on the discipleship map.
Our Stations of the Cross service celebrated communion last night in preparation for this weekend. Today, we are attending the stations service at the Franciscan Monastery.
Also, a TON of groups have registered for the summer semester. I can’t believe it! About 6o groups will be listed in the National Community Geographic, and even more will be meeting. It’s going to be a great summer!

I just had another win! My email is EMPTY for the first time in weeks. It’s been pretty full with summer group registrations for the past couple of weeks.
I am going to vacation next week, so it feels great to see “O emails.” Don’t move to fast to load it up again!

lol- funny heather-
anyway. since i got an award for win sheets on the friday scorecard, i feel i should continue…
so wednesday- we had our first “field trip” to ebenezers with my wed. nite peeps.
praise God, they were so excited to take the short walk (for them it’s a comfort zone thing) down. i think the more we go down as a group, the more comfortable they will feel.
also, some of our guys were missing for dinner, and we found them out by the fountain. one of our guys (a self proclaimed athiest) led us in prayer, which basically consisted of: ‘If you are there- can you please help my friend (one of our guys was there in bad shape) that he would get better and get strength-’
he is a vet, so he also prayed for the soldiers abroad.
not bad for an athiest. lol.
anyway- please continue to lift up richard in your prayers- for physical healing.

I must say that the “Friday Scorecard” seems to be stacked in favor of the weekday groups. The groups that meet on Saturdays, like, say, Just Shoot Me either have to post a win on an old scorecard, or wait a whole week. …but I’m not complaining or anything =D
Anyway… I was having dinner with a few people from my group when the waitress commented on my friend’s camera. “I’ve got a camera” she said, “but I never have a chance to use it…” One of the girls at the table said to me, “She needs one of our cards,” so I pulled out the ol’ Just Shoot Me invite card and told the waitress a little about the group. (That’s right, we’ve got our own invite cards. Be jealous =) She got all excited at the thought of having an opportunity to use her camera more. It was cool to see a random stranger light up at the idea of joining us.
