On Good Friday afternoon, my Stations of the Cross group is going to the Franciscan Monastery to participate in their stations of the cross service. The stations of the cross is a devotional exercise that helps people meditate on the passion of Christ. You can read more about it here.

If time permits, I may also do a quick tour of some of the Holy Land replicas inside the sanctuary.

If you are interested in going with us, please email me (Heather) and let me know. If you could drive, that would be especially helpful. Also, we will return in time for the NCC Good Friday service at Ebenezers at 7:00 pm.

I think it’s a good idea to set aside some time on Good Friday to reflect on Christ’s work on the cross. It prepares us to celebrate fully in his resurrection on Easter morning.

  3. Oh yeah– we will meet at Ebenezers at 2:00 pm. However, please don’t just show up. Let me know in advance so I can make sure we have transportation available.
