The Leadership Summit got me thinking about wins. The thing that popped into my head as the biggest win was: my amazement that these kids keep coming back!

Our youth small group is still very much SMALL. But I am really enjoying these students. (I am trying to stay students instead of kids. :)

I must feel pressure to make sure it is fun because, each week, I am surprised that they seem so into it.

Last week we had two new guys. They are a bit older and I was thinking, "Are they going to think this is dumb??" But, they seemed to have a great time!

So, glory be to the Lord and not the doubter like me. :) Now, the goal is to keep making it more and more exciting. I have some fun ideas for the summer. I just hope we can pull them off!

I am giving a shout out to the leaders in my Zone who are so faithful about getting me their win sheets -- I think Lisa and Lanre, Mike and Betty Ann, and Elizabeth and Kathryn have sent them to me nearly every single week! (The rest of you are doing a great job, too -- keep it up!)

I also want to brag about the NW DC Food and Fellowship Group (led by Kathryn Parent and Elizabeth Hanna) -- they provided child care for the kids of those couples attending "Marriage Matters" this past Sunday. Thank you for being such faithful servants and for thinking creatively on how your group could help out!
