Alright, gang. I know that God has been doing some praise-worthy stuff in your groups. It’s time for the Friday Scorecard. Share those wins!
From a church-wide standpoint– Ebenezers is open! Well, at least in the sense that we have the Certificate of Occupancy and we held our first event there on Monday night– the Alpha Kickoff Dinner. The Ministry Volunteer Dinner will be held there tonight, and we will have inaugural services tomorrow night.
The coffeehouse will open sometime next week with grand opening March 24-26.
I can’t believe I beat the other Alphans, or Alphites, or Alpharians…whatever we are. Anyways, the Alpha kickoff was a HUGE win on Monday! Four people indicated, one way or another, that they took a big step and “crossed the line of faith” that night. How awesome is that! And, we also all fit in the room, which is a praise as well!

The Alpha Kickoff was amazing. God threw my expectations out the window and took the night to a whole other level. I was blown away by everything, from the coffeehouse that made me stop and praise God everytime I saw it, to the 74 guests who showed up, to the killer worship band (Steph “Bono” Sage and Rob “Hendrix” Nation along with Nathan, Tim and Edith), to the food that was meant to serve 50 but actually served 100 with tons of leftovers, to the four souls that are now heaven bound, to the unheard of 96% retention rate between the Kickoff Dinner and the Course (71 of the 74 people signed up to continue).
Who wouldn’t serve a God like our God?
