wow- what a week-
a few wins-
first of all tuesday nite social justice:
we went for it! we met and talked about capital punishment, tackling all of the tough issues and really tried to hash it all out biblically. though at first a little nervous, God showed his favor upon our group once again and led us with His Spirit in a fruitful discussion without any injuries, hurt feelings, or disrespectful discourse. we continued to reach out as well, once again to unbelievers who joined our group-
wed. after a fruitful discussion with heather about a potential ncc week of justice- i went over to union station for the homeless group. we enjoyed our normal time of fellowship, but i was really able to dig deep with two of the guys who told me they are reading the bible daily and sitting in the food court debating and hashing things out with each other… wow, i wish i had that much discipline!
one of the guys also told me that he wanted to get baptized as soon as possible by pastor mark!
God is good- oh yea-

John,
That is awesome stuff. I love hearing about the ministries that you’ve got going on. Thank you for being obedient and led to tackle this huge issues. It is so encouraging to me.

The Alpha team is still kicking butt and taking names. 90 names to be exact. As of yesterday, we’ve had 90 guests RSVP for the Kickoff Dinner on March 6th.
Over the past two months of ridiculous fellowship and fun, the team members have used their gifts and testimonies to bless and grow each other. The NCC office and pastoral staff has been an amazing blessing and support to us at every turn.
With everything that God has done before we’ve even started the semester and the crazy party we’re planning to throw, our new prayer is that we’re able to leave Ebenezer’s in one piece so that the rest of you can use it. Make no mistake, it will be changed, but we’d like to leave it standing.
