One.
Be One.
Make One.
For One.

Why? First, because it should be an awesome movie. (Some of you may have even seen it tonight at the NCC Sneak Preview.)

But second, because the movie industry and the media often judge the success of a movie by its box office on the first weekend. And they usually don’t even wait for the Sunday ticket sales to make their judgement on that opening weekend.

So, if you are planning on seeing Narnia this weekend, make an effort to go on Friday or Saturday. If it’s sold out at your regular theater, find a theater where it is not sold out and go there. A strong opening box office will get Narnia more attention and more momentum for the weeks to come!

  1. Ryan and I saw it last night. Amazing. I don’t want to give anything away before others have a chance to see it. :) We will go see it again soon.

And I want to echo Nathan’s comments. It is very important to see this movie in the first weekend. That’s the weekend that counts.

  2. I saw the movie last night at the MPAA headquarters — I was with my roommate and her coworker, who didn’t know anything about the story and wasn’t thrilled about going. She ended up loving the movie! It was really awesome and extremely well done — I echo Nathan’s and Heather’s comments. Run, do not walk, to a theater to see this movie this weekend!
