It’s time to gear up for Christmas! I still get excited to see Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and other perennial gems that show up on network television every Christmas.
I guess my favorite of that genre is A Charlie Brown Christmas. Discouraged by the commercialism of Christmas and searching for the holiday’s true meaning, good ol’ Chuck takes Lucy’s advice (which is wise for once) and decides to direct the Christmas pageant. With a little help from Linus, the whole gang hears the Christmas story– straight from the book of Luke. I am amazed they still show it on network television!
Thank you Charles Schulz!
If you don’t want to go rent the movie, tune in to ABC on Tuesday night at 8:00 pm.
Heather, once again you are going to please your sister with your weekend movie idea.
